Logitech MX Vertical and Lift Models
The Logitech Lift has joined the MX Vertical, which has been available since the summer of 2018. Like its predecessor, the Lift is designed to alleviate (or prevent) potential wrist pain experienced by some users with a 57° angle (akin to a handshake position) and was developed at the company’s Ergo Lab in Lausanne, specifically for those who find the MX Vertical too bulky.
An Ergonomic Mouse
According to Logitech, individuals with smaller hands, under 17.5 centimeters in length, will find the Lift more accommodating than the MX Vertical (users with medium-sized hands, around 19 centimeters long, should be able to use both models comfortably), but the differences don’t end there. The Lift features a slightly revised design, silent click buttons, Bluetooth compatibility across three different devices and Logi Bolt (a USB-A dongle is included), available in three colors (white, black, pink – a first for an ergonomic range at Logitech) with 70% post-consumer recycled plastic in the black version (54% for the other two colors), and notably offers a version for left-handed users.
Another distinction is that the Lift is powered by a single AA battery (as opposed to a rechargeable battery via USB-C port on the MX Vertical) with a reported battery life of 24 months.
