Outage Confirmed by Users and Data
As of 10:36 AM, the website Downdetector registered 507 reports in France, and the issue appears to be widespread: the USA, Spain, and Brazil are also affected. So far, neither X nor Elon Musk has offered any official explanation. This silence is becoming routine, as the network has seen several disruptions in recent months, a trend that has intensified following the wave of layoffs after the acquisition.
Another Setback for X
This latest malfunction once again raises concerns about X’s technical reliability. Since Elon Musk drastically cut staff numbers, technical issues have increased, fueling worries about the platform’s ability to maintain stable service.
Of course, other platforms are benefiting from this situation. For now, one might need to look elsewhere: Threads, Bluesky, or even Mastodon are fully operational, and some users have already migrated there to discuss this latest failure of X.
