There’s no question about it! By 2025, Apple’s marketing team has gone a tad wild! The company is pulling out all the stops to promote its latest hit series on Apple TV+.

Who is Tim C.?
Indeed, Tim Cook is once again putting himself in the spotlight. This isn’t the first time he’s appeared in a promotional video (recall the “Mother Nature” campaign). Since Apple went to the lengths of confining the show’s actors in a glass cube in the middle of a train station, it only made sense to involve their CEO as well.
In a brief video shared on Ben Stiller’s X account, you can spot Tim Cook—or should I say Tim C.—in the iconic elevator heading to Lumon Industries’ offices! Personally, I find his smile quite unsettling, don’t you?
Severance, a Hit Series!
As a reminder, it’s a sci-fi series centered around a mysterious company—Lumon Industries— where employees have no recall of their personal lives while at work. Conversely, they have no memory of their workplace when they are away from it.
This series, created by Dan Erickson, features the talented Adam Scott, Britt Lower, Tramell Tillman, Zach Cherry, and even Christopher Walken, and has continuously captured viewers’ attention. Premiering over 1000 days ago, it has intrigued audiences with its unique concept, exploring the stark separation between personal and professional lives through the lens of employees at a mysterious company. The finale was highly acclaimed and earned one of the highest ratings for a single episode on IMDB, highlighting its cultural impact.
In the time between seasons, Severance has continued to receive praise and has solidified its status among the most cherished series on Apple TV+. Its first season was applauded for its dystopian atmosphere, enthralling mysteries, and themes delving into identity and work ethics.
