There’s no question about it! By 2025, Apple’s marketing department is embracing a touch of madness! The company is pulling out all the stops to promote its hit series on Apple TV+. After placing a glass cube right in the middle of Grand Central Terminal in New York, they’ve now added a new computer to the homepage of their website…
A Quirky Move?
Indeed, Apple has revamped several versions of its homepage to promote Season 2 of Severance. When you visit the French page and scroll down a bit, you come across an image immediately recognizable to fans. It is indeed the computer used by employees at Lumon Industries.
Clicking on the “Learn More” button leads directly to Apple TV+ and the series page. However, some regions are missing out, such as Asia where the homepage is dedicated to the Lunar New Year or other countries like Moldova, Armenia, or Slovenia (yes, I checked all the countries in Eurovision to see, and if you’re curious, you can check it out here).
Silo and Severance
This marketing stunt aligns with other initiatives from Apple TV+. On Thursday, January 16, a character dressed directly from Silo (also in its second season) was spotted sitting among the crowd at a packed NBA game featuring the Dallas Mavericks.
Previously, on Wednesday, January 15, the streaming service celebrated the highly anticipated return of Season 2 of Severance with a pop-up event at Grand Central Terminal in New York. Inside a large glass cube, several actors from the series played their part, behaving as if they were in an office setting!
