A MacBook Pro M5 Tomorrow? Thursday? Friday?
According to Mark Gurman, Apple is set to announce a new entry-level MacBook Pro equipped with the M5 chip this week, before the more powerful M5 Pro and M5 Max versions, which are expected early next year.
The rumor mill has been buzzing recently, following the discovery of documents filed with the FCC (Federal Communications Commission) that refer to a new MacBook Pro model. Various sources indicate that this is likely the 14-inch model equipped with an M5 chip.

This M5 MacBook is expected to officially launch the new M5 architecture, already present in several unannounced products. Unboxing videos of the M5 iPad Pro have already leaked on YouTube, while a faster Vision Pro has been spotted in FCC listings, according to Gurman.
It appears that Apple is gearing up for a grouped announcement—MacBook Pro, iPad Pro, and Vision Pro—all centered around the same generation of chips. This strategy is reminiscent of October 2024, when the company simultaneously unveiled the complete range of M4 Macs.
A Launch Without a Keynote?
At this point, it’s unlikely that Apple will hold an event for this occasion. Similar to recent launches, the company might opt for simple press releases and online promotional videos, without a keynote at Apple Park.
Regardless, the tone of the teaser leaves little room for doubt: the M5 is arriving in the next few hours or days. And judging by Apple’s historic patterns, the firm might just trigger the release as early as this Wednesday.
