A Historic Twitch Record in France
As anticipated, it’s official: GP Explorer 3 has once again broken the record for live viewers on Twitch France and France Television. Peaking at over 1.4 million simultaneous connections during the race, the event organized by Squeezie surpassed its previous record set in 2023 (1.34 million) and has now overshadowed all other French live events, including Billy’s DTR Fight. The format remains unchanged, with content creators racing F4 cars on the Le Mans 24 Hours circuit, the Bugatti circuit, but the upgraded production and audience anticipation confirm one thing: this is no longer just a gathering among streamers, it has become a major annual event on the digital scene, sadly the last one.
Delayed Start: SCH Saved Just in Time
The race was delayed by about twenty minutes due to a mechanical incident with SCH’s single-seater. With the engine locked and the car unable to move from the pre-grid, starting the race was impossible.
What followed will likely be remembered as one of the most striking moments of the event: mechanics from all teams rushed to SCH’s car in an attempt to save his race. This display of solidarity, where even rival engineers got involved, was rare at this level. The result: the car was repaired in time, and SCH managed to start, ultimately finishing in 11th place, but at least on his wheels.

Karchez Dominates, Squeezie Drops Out
Once the race got underway, the Spanish racer Karchez was hardly challenged. Strong throughout the weekend, he secured a comfortable lead over Kaatsup, who took a commendable second place after a flawless race. Maxime Biaggi completed the podium, consistent and sharp in overtaking. PLK finished fourth, just over a second behind, closely followed by Houdi, who made a commendable debut.
Squeezie, on the other hand, didn’t finish the race. A collision with Baghera towards the end forced him to retire, a disappointing outcome for the organizer who appeared to be in contention for a podium finish.
And What About Cocottee?
Personally, I had all my bets on Cocottee, who was racing in partnership with Baghera. Unfortunately, the harsh realities of racing caught up with the hopes: she finished in 15th place, far from the lead pack. There were few visible mistakes, but a lack of pace over the duration and difficulty moving up through traffic marked a somewhat muted performance. Nonetheless, Cocottee, you’re still my sure pick, well done!
A Solid but Unsurprising Top 5
Here’s a recap of the top 5 finishers: Karchez, in first place, affirmed his status as a seasoned driver. Kaatsup, in second, held on but never really threatened the leader. Biaggi, third. PLK and Houdi, fourth and fifth, rounded out a lead group that left nothing to chance. A neutralization in the final laps solidified these positions, preventing any last-minute attacks.
Final Thoughts?
GP Explorer 3 ticked all the boxes: viewership, suspense, race quality, and even an unexpected moment of humanity with SCH’s breakdown. The withdrawal of Squeezie and the underwhelming performances of some expected names remind us that, even in a creator-driven event, the competition is real. Karchez dominates, rookies rise. It was a truly enjoyable race and a fantastic event, with a frenetic pace and flawless staging. Well done!
