The Beta Releases Are Here!

Released gradually, these test versions are aimed at developers, including those with a free account. As always, caution is advised: betas can be unstable, power-hungry, and bug-prone. It’s highly recommended to back up your data before installing—this can’t be stressed enough.

For this iteration, Apple has finally launched Apple Intelligence in new languages: French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Spanish, Japanese, Korean, and Simplified Chinese, as well as English versions for Singapore and India. Notably, iOS 18.4 beta 2 now supports the iPhone 16 and the iPhone 12 (which was previously omitted due to a bug). The iPad 8 (WiFi and Cellular), iPad Air 4 (Wi-Fi and Cellular), and the ‌iPad Air‌ M2 are also included in this beta for the same reasons.

Key features of Apple Intelligence currently available in France include Notification Summaries and Priority Notifications, Genmoji for creating custom emojis, Image Playground and Image Wand for crafting original images, Writing Tools, the Memory Movie Maker in Photos, Natural Language Search Enhancements, Mail Summaries, Priority Messaging in Mail, and Smart Reply in Messages and Mail.
