Twenty-four hours following the release of public betas for upcoming systems, Apple has rolled out a new version of the public beta for iOS 26, this time exclusively for the iPhone 11, identified by the build number 23A5297n (as opposed to 23A5297m for other devices). This particular model was notably missing from last night’s release batch.

A Fix for Home Screen Folders
There’s a technical reason behind this update. Primarily, it addresses a specific bug on the iPhone 11 that impacted how folders displayed on the home screen. Previously, users may have only been able to see the left column in folders, effectively hiding applications in the remaining two columns and making them unreachable.
Apple has confirmed that this display issue has been resolved in this new build, allowing users to organize their apps normally again.
How to Install Public Betas?
In recent years, the company has also relaxed rules for developers: developer betas are now free to access, but they still require an Apple developer account.
iOS 26: A Design of Sheer Transparency
iOS 26 introduces a new aesthetic called Liquid Glass, emphasizing transparency, polished glass effects, and a smoother interface. This visual language extends to the lock screen, home screen, Control Center, as well as menus and buttons within apps.
Beyond the visual overhaul, iOS 26 brings several enhancements to key apps such as Messages, Phone, Apple Music, Shortcuts, and CarPlay, which has undergone a significant redesign. Added to these are a few Apple Intelligence features, still in testing (and slightly behind), which will enhance the capabilities of contextual and generative assistance.
