Standalone Voice Recorder, Integrated Storage, AI Assistant

The Wave isn’t limited to real-time capture: it also functions as a standalone voice recorder. Its 32 GB of internal memory can store up to 1,000 hours of audio. An AI pre-recording feature automatically saves the last five minutes of conversation, preventing any loss of information. From its touchscreen interface, the user can edit, annotate, or share a file, which can be directly sent to the cloud.

In conjunction with Insta360 InSight, the brand’s smart assistant, the Wave offers automatic transcriptions in 99 languages, identifies speakers, tailors vocabulary through custom glossaries, and generates summaries and task lists.

Users can even query their notes through an intelligent Q&A (powered by ChatGPT and Gemini), with direct links to time-stamped passages. All content is saved in an unlimited cloud and accessible at any time.

Sound That Adapts to Any Setting

The Wave features adaptive beamforming with five capture modes (omnidirectional, stereo, etc.), perfect for group meetings or immersive content. Designed to integrate with the brand’s ecosystem, it connects to the AI webcam Insta360 Link 2: the sound guides the camera, which automatically follows the speakers for a smooth and professional experience.

With the Insta360 Wave, the brand known for its 360° cameras is stepping up and encroaching on the territories of Microsoft, Google, and Bose.
