Brunswick Knight Armor: The First Clues

After completing the introductory phase of Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, you’ll find yourself in Troskowitz, having recently been freed from the pillory. It’s here that an NPC named Bara will speak to you and assign you a series of objectives, including the search for the Brunswick armor.
To learn more about the armor, you’ll need to speak with another NPC, Gaibl, the village scribe, who can typically be found near the bailiff’s building. During your conversation, Gaibl will tell you about the armor’s legendary status, and he’ll give you a riddle to solve. While the riddle may seem cryptic, the key is to follow the clues to four key points of interest that will lead you to the Brunswick Knight’s armor.
Riddle and First Pieces of the Brunswick Armor

To begin following the riddle’s trail, head toward the two towers of Trosky Castle. As you approach, your character, Henry, will comment on the riddle. Afterward, head north, passing through the castle gates.
Though solving the riddle is optional, if you’re looking to get straight to the Lion Crest quest’s reward, proceed to the following marked location. There, you’ll find a small stone cross nestled between the rocks. Interact with it and then dig (using a shovel you can either steal from Troskowitz’s cemetery or purchase from a local merchant). Digging will uncover a chest containing Brunswick’s gloves and a dagger.

Along with the armor pieces, you’ll receive maps leading you to the next parts of the set. Let’s start with the first treasure map, which takes you to the northern part of Tachov. Clear the area of wolves, and then look between two trees for a small cloth bag. Inside the bag, you’ll find the next pieces of the Brunswick armor.
Lion Crest: Second Treasure Map

The second map will direct you west of Tachov. Start from the small houses nearby and head straight, passing both the houses and some latrines. You’ll soon find yourself facing a rock formation, which you’ll need to climb. Use the nearby wooden logs to ascend to the highest rock, where a chest can be found at the base of another stone cross. This chest contains the next pieces of Brunswick’s armor.
Brunswick Knight Armor: Third Treasure Map

For the third treasure map, head to a location situated almost halfway between Tachov and Zhelejov, just north of the baths. Once there, look for a cross positioned on a high rock. Pass the cross and continue upward, where you’ll find another cross, this time at the base of a tree. Nearby, a skeleton will be leaning against the cross, and next to it, a cloth bag containing more armor pieces.
Kingdom Come 2: Fourth Treasure Map of the Brunswick Knight

At last, you’re almost there! The fourth and final treasure map will lead you to the nomad camp, or rather, to the location just east of it. Starting from the last map’s position, head south-southwest to find the final piece of the Brunswick armor.
You’ll encounter a small cairn with the familiar stone cross marking the spot. Once you reach it, an option to search the cairn will appear on your screen. In this final location, you’ll discover the last piece: the Brunswick helmet, completing your set of armor.
And just like that, you’ll have finished the Lion Crest quest and possess the full Brunswick Knight’s armor for your journey in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2!
