Having delved into grief in Season 1 and forgiveness in Season 2, Season 3 will introduce the theme of moving forward. Co-creator Bill Lawrence shared that this new season will complete the narrative arc initially envisioned over three parts.
Main characters Jimmy (Jason Segel), Paul (Harrison Ford), and Gaby (Jessica Williams) will each strive to turn a new page and advance in life despite past challenges.
An Enriched Star-Studded Cast
Season 3 will welcome several new leading actors, starting with Michael J. Fox who will portray a key character linked to Paul’s battle with Parkinson’s disease. Jeff Daniels will play Jimmy’s father, adding a new layer to the family dynamics. Cobie Smulders, who made a brief appearance in Season 2, will have a more significant role.
