Indeed, light therapy is a recognized method in dermatology for treating acne and other skin conditions such as eczema, hives, or psoriasis. Essentially, the light penetrates the skin, enhancing microcirculation.
In this instance, the LEDs in the mask emit near-infrared (NIR) light, known for its skin benefits, including reducing fine lines, combating acne, and improving overall skin tone. Other Innovations
Additionally, Nanoleaf showcased more traditional products at CES 2025. This includes a Smart Multicolor Floor Lamp, available for pre-order on the brand’s website. This lamp combines sleek design with dynamic lighting, offering multiple color options that adapt to any setting and mood.
The company also introduced two new light strips designed specifically for screens. The PC Lightstrip (aimed at gamers and movie fans) is a flexible, foldable light strip that conforms to the contours of a screen with its zigzag design. It reflects the colors of games and movies in real-time for a fully immersive experience (not compatible with Mac).
The 4D V2 is targeted at television sets. Equipped with a built-in camera, this light strip captures the colors displayed on the screen and reproduces them on the LED strips in real-time, creating a synchronized and dynamic visual experience. These products will be available in the second quarter of 2025.
Finally, the accessories maker introduced Nanoleaf Premium, a subscription-based software service for users of the Nanoleaf Desktop app. This service includes Orchestrator (a feature that detects songs and generates light animations tailored to each track) and Scenescapes (a combination of lighting effects and soothing sounds for an immersive, relaxing atmosphere). Available now, Nanoleaf Premium is offered at $1.99 per month or $19.99 per year.
