Sennheiser Momentum Sport
Despite the acquisition of Sennheiser’s consumer electronics division by Swiss hearing aid company Sonova, Sennheiser continues to innovate, evidenced by the Momentum Sport. These earbuds are designed for athletes and feature an ear fin for better stability, a semi-open design, and adaptive active noise cancellation (ANC), a Transparency mode, an Anti-Wind mode, and deliver the best sound quality for sports earbuds thanks to a new speaker.
The latest models stand out with a heart rate sensor using photoplethysmography (PPG) and a body temperature sensor (features expected on AirPods) which allow users to sync data across multiple devices and apps, including the Apple Watch, Health, Garmin watches, Strava, Peloton, and Polar (with real-time tracking and offline analysis through Polar Flow, a first for a third-party product).
Heart Rate and Temperature Monitoring
The earbuds are IP55 certified (IP54 for the case), support wireless charging via the case which also features a USB-C port, use Bluetooth 5.2, and have a battery life of 6 hours, extendable to 24 hours with the charging case. The Momentum Sport is available in three colors, Polar Black, Burned Olive, and Metallic Graphite.
