Ugreen Nexode Pro Series
At Ugreen, the Nexode charger line stands out by utilizing gallium nitride (GaN), offering an alternative to traditional silicon used in chargers, with transistors that emit less heat, allowing closer placement of internal components and providing a more compact charger without sacrificing power.
The chargers from the Nexode Pro series, which you can read about in our comprehensive review, incorporate three proprietary technologies, Airpyra
which helps to design compact and lightweight chargers by optimizing the assembly and miniaturization of components
, GaNInfinity which contributes to reducing carbon dioxide emissions during production by saving about 4 kg of CO2 compared to silicon chips, and Thermal Guard
which analyzes the temperature of components 800 times per second to intelligently adjust the power delivered to protect the battery of the charging devices from overheating
.
Nexode Pro 100W and 160W Models
The Nexode Pro 100W model can deliver 100W on the first USB-C port when used alone (30W and 22.5W respectively on the second USB-C port and the USB-A port if used alone). The charger will deliver 65W on the first port and 15W on each of the other two ports when used simultaneously.
The Nexode Pro 160W goes even further with its three USB-C ports and one USB-A port, delivering up to 140W, thus offering fast charging thanks to Power Delivery 3.1 compatibility on 16-inch MacBook Pros, via a MagSafe 3 cable for M1, M2, and M3 models and in USB-C (but only on M3 and M4 models). If you need less power and an even more compact form, the Nexode Pro 65W Mini makes a perfect companion.
