If the iPad 10 doesn’t pack enough punch for you and you’re looking for a tablet equipped with at least an Apple Silicon chip without breaking the bank on the iPad Air M2, the previous model with an M1 chip is now available at an attractive price on Apple’s refurbished product store.

The iPad Air 5 with the M1 Chip
Compared to the iPad 10, the iPad Air M1 offers several advantages, such as a laminated display, a much faster USB-C port (480 Mb/s versus 10 Gb/s for the Air), a significantly faster Apple Silicon M1 chip compared to the A14 Bionic in the iPad 10, and twice the RAM (8GB vs 4GB).
This tablet is designed to run all apps and games from the App Store in optimal conditions. Another significant advantage is that the 2022 iPad Air M1 is compatible with the Apple Pencil 2. This accessory charges by attaching magnetically to the side of the iPad Air, a much more convenient method than the first generation’s Lightning port.
Starting at $559
The iPad Air 5 also supports Apple’s Magic Keyboard/trackpad combo, arguably the best device of its kind on the market (though it is pricey).

Why Choose Refurbished?
As a reminder, opting for refurbished products ensures that you receive a device that is like new, complete with all accessories, a one-year warranty, and the option to purchase an Apple Care plan. We often buy devices this way ourselves, which appear simply new (no scratches, no marks on the screen or on the pads), and we’ve never encountered any problems.
