Introducing the Apple Watch Ultra 3
Those hoping for a major redesign might be slightly disappointed, as the changes are subtle with a slightly larger display due to thinner bezels, and there aren’t a flood of new features to report.
Apple’s premium watch does welcome the ability to monitor chronic hypertension—a feature borrowed from the Apple Watch Series 11. It works in the background, analyzes data over 30-day periods, and alerts you if it detects anything unusual. Although it’s been tested with 100,000 participants, it doesn’t catch every case. It will be available in 150 countries and also includes an enhanced analysis of sleep quality (offering you a score, similar to other competitors in the market).
Connectivity: 5G and Satellites
The Apple Watch Ultra 3 will be compatible with 5G networks, and it includes a modified radio antenna for satellite connections, enabling users to send messages and their location to distant satellites. An important note for many users is the improved battery life, now up to 42 hours. This extended battery allows for multiple days away from a charger, a convenient feature that was also appreciated in previous models.
