• Pre-order Unistellar’s Envision (~$1,000)

You might have seen them first on Mac4Ever a few weeks ago, these binoculars, developed in partnership with Nikon, add an augmented reality layer through real lenses—not screens.

ENVISION: An Extra 350 Units at $999 as a Special Offer!

Three weeks after starting the pre-orders at a discounted rate, ENVISION by UNISTELLAR has already sold out the initial batch of 750 units. Due to this success, and in response to the demand, an additional batch of 350 units has been made available. These are offered at a special price of $999 instead of $1,499 until Sunday, November 2nd. These pre-orders will be delivered in November 2026, providing early access to the product before its broad commercial release in 2027.

What Exactly is ENVISION?

Unlike many augmented reality systems, ENVISION uses real binoculars as the base for viewing.

A system of prisms then projects useful information directly onto the lens, such as the peak of a mountain, an airplane’s flight number, or the name of a star. So, you’re not looking through a screen, but through traditional optics, and that makes a huge difference!

As a result, you won’t experience the problems of dynamics, halos, and other disturbances that come with combining a camera and screen, like with Apple’s Vision Pro, for instance.

Unique features for a new exploration experience ;

• The connected binoculars combine GPS, inertial measurement units (IMU), and Bluetooth connectivity for accurate location and stable orientation. ENVISION offers five usage modes:
Smart Scouting Mode: an interactive 3D map appears in your line of sight to instantly identify landscape elements.
Guided Navigation Mode: navigate towards selected points of interest with integrated visual guidance.
Shareable Target-Lock Mode: lock onto a target and share it with other users.
Advanced Compass: real-time altitudes, azimuths, and detailed data.
Classic Optical Mode: turn off AR for purely optical use of the highest quality.
