The latest version of the Magic Keyboard features chiclet keys and a comfortable typing experience (for those who prefer this style of keyboard), connects via Bluetooth and charges through a USB-C port (a suitable USB-C to USB-C cable is included in the box). This model is distinguished by the inclusion of a Touch ID button located at the top right, simplifying authentication on a Mac for logins, software installations, or purchases. The Magic Keyboard with Touch ID requires a Mac with an Apple Silicon chip and macOS 11.4 or newer. However, be aware that the keyboard will work on a Mac with an Intel processor, but the Touch ID functionality will not.
