Samsung Galaxy S25 Plus Might Adopt Galaxy Z Fold 6’s Top Design Feature!

Following the release of the iPhone 16 series, the next anticipated big event in the mobile industry is the likely unveiling of the Samsung Galaxy S25 trio: the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25 Plus, and Galaxy S25 Ultra. These models are expected to succeed the current flagship, the Samsung Galaxy S24 series.

We’ve already seen designs for both the Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25 Ultra, and now it’s time to focus on the Galaxy S25 Plus, which sits in the middle of these new offerings.

Images provided by Android Headlines and the well-known leaker OnLeaks, which are based on Computer-Aided Design (CAD) drawings, depict the Galaxy S25 Plus with minimal changes compared to its predecessor, except for one significant design modification.

The depicted renders reveal the Galaxy S25 Plus sporting robust camera rings similar to those on the Galaxy Z Fold 6. However, the camera arrangement remains consistent with that of the Galaxy S24 Plus, and the flat-edged rounded design remains largely unchanged.

This observation aligns with previously leaked renders of the Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25 Ultra, which also show a design largely similar to their predecessors but include thicker camera rings and, for the Ultra model, slimmer bezels.

It is important to note that CAD mockups are primarily concerned with the dimensions of the device, and as Android Headlines pointed out, the absence of a SIM tray in the renders doesn’t necessarily imply that Samsung will eliminate this feature.

These images are presumably our first glimpse at the rumored Galaxy S25 Plus after months of speculation about its internal features.

Regarding specifications, there are rumors that Samsung might equip the entire Galaxy S25 lineup with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset. Initially, it was believed that Samsung would use its Exynos 2500 chipset for markets in Europe, South Korea, and India. However, according to Tom’s Guide, Samsung might be facing challenges in manufacturing the required volume of 3nm chips for its devices.

Additional leaks suggest an upgrade for the Galaxy S25 Plus to 12GB of RAM from the 8GB found in the Galaxy S24 Plus, aligning it with the RAM capacities of the Galaxy S24 Ultra and Z Fold 6.

GSMArena indicates that the Galaxy S25 Plus will maintain the same 6.7-inch display size and 4,900mAh battery as its predecessor, slightly less than the 6.8-inch screen and 5,000mAh battery of the Galaxy S24 Ultra.

However, these details remain speculative until Samsung officially confirms the specifications and design of the Galaxy S25 Plus.

We anticipate the official announcement of the Samsung Galaxy S25 Plus along with its siblings, the Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25 Ultra, in early 2025. Until then, stay tuned to our Samsung Galaxy S25 hub for all the latest news and updates.
