Logitech Lift
Joining the ranks of the MX Vertical released in the summer of 2018, the Logitech Lift aims to alleviate (or prevent) potential wrist pain experienced by some users with a 57° angle—the same position as when shaking hands. This design was developed in Logitech’s Ergo Lab in Lausanne, specifically considering those who find the MX Vertical too large.
An Ergonomic Mouse
Those with smaller hands, under 17.5 centimeters long according to Logitech, will find the Lift more accommodating than the MX Vertical (users with medium-sized hands, around 19 centimeters long, should be able to comfortably use both models). However, the differences don’t end there. The Lift features a slightly revamped design, buttons that click quietly, compatibility with Bluetooth across three different devices and Logi Bolt (a USB-A dongle is included), offered in three colors (white, black, pink—a first for an ergonomic range from Logitech) with 70% post-consumer recycled plastic used in the black version (54% for the other two colors), and notably, it offers a version for left-handed users.
Another distinction is that the Lift is powered by a single AA battery (as opposed to the rechargeable battery via USB-C port on the MX Vertical), with an advertised battery life of 24 months.
