Vintage Wallpaper Wows at Shenzhen Apple Store – Must See!

Today, Apple unveiled its latest store in Shenzhen, gearing up for its grand opening this Saturday, August 16. True to form, the company celebrated the launch with a unique and colorful wallpaper, which is now available for free download. This wallpaper adds a charming vintage touch to the event!

A Glassy, Immersive Design

The store, named Apple Qianhai Yifang City, is located in the Bao’an district at the heart of the Yifang City shopping center. This new outlet features the architectural style seen in other recent openings in malls: a curved facade, extensive glass windows, and a seamless transition from the interior to the exterior.

We don’t really have the same shopping centers…

The location of this new store is no coincidence: Shenzhen is a major industrial hub in China, home to numerous suppliers and partners of Apple. The company sees it as a strategic spot to strengthen its presence in mainland China and in the Greater Bay Area region.

There are many customers in China who are passionate about technology and eager to use our products to achieve great things, said Deirdre O’Brien, Apple’s Senior Vice President of Retail. With this new store, we hope to engage with even more customers and help them bring their biggest projects to life.

A Custom Wallpaper to Mark the Occasion

For each opening, Apple designs a custom logo turned into a wallpaper, featuring a semi-abstract style full of colors. The design for the Apple Qianhai Yifang City follows this tradition, combining fluid lines and gradients for a festive yet sophisticated look.

This wallpaper is directly downloadable from Apple’s website. The more creative users can even design their own custom Apple logo using the interactive tool offered on the site.

As in other Apple Stores, visitors will experience the premium retail environment that the brand is known for: Today at Apple workshops, technical support through the Genius Bar, immersive product demos, and of course, a wide range of accessories and personalized services (and later, limited edition products for the Lunar New Year!). In short, with this new location, Apple reaffirms its desire to expand its network in China, all while maintaining a keen eye for detail in visual communication.
