Snag 45% Off the MX Keys Mini Keyboard in the Spring Flash Sale!

If you’re not a fan of Apple’s Magic Keyboards for Mac or iPad, one of the best alternatives is the Logitech MX Keys Mini, which is currently on sale during Amazon’s spring flash sale.

Logitech MX Keys Mini for $69

With this model, Logitech aims to cater to fans of the MX Keys who found the version with the numeric keypad too bulky, offering an alternative to Apple’s Magic Keyboard without the numeric pad. The keyboard comes with a 105-centimeter gray USB-C to USB-C cable for charging. The keyboard is Bluetooth compatible, but also works with the new (still USB-A) Logitech Bolt dongle (not included).

The MX Keys Mini features the sturdy construction seen in the model with a numeric pad, including an aluminum chassis and concave “Perfect Stroke” keys. It has a more angled profile than Apple’s keyboard and is slightly less compact. For transportation, the MX Keys Mini is notably heavier at 508 grams on our scale, compared to 239 grams for the Magic Keyboard.

Backlighting and Shortcuts

The keyboard can be paired with three separate devices (for example, a Mac, an iPad, and an iPhone), and dedicated keys allow for quick switching between them. The Flow feature is also included, enabling control of multiple computers with the same device. Logitech has also added shortcuts for accessible functions using the same keys.

It will be possible to adjust the keyboard’s backlight, launch voice dictation, open the emoji menu, take a screenshot, mute the microphone (this works system-wide, including with external microphones), control volume and playback, and activate the “Do Not Disturb” mode.

A shortcut (Esc + fn) allows users to switch from function keys to dedicated features, without having to hold a key each time (an option is also available through the software). Logitech mentions a battery life of up to 5 months with the backlight turned off.
