WhatsApp, the globally popular communication app, is on the brink of rolling out a fresh update. This new modification will completely overhaul its audio/video call interface, bringing with it a much-anticipated modern feel.
At the heart of this revamp is a redesigned toolbar which currently appears at the bottom of the screen during voice calls. In its present form, this toolbar offers a host of features including switching to video call, controlling microphone and speaker settings, and ending the conversation.
New Interface Design
Users can expect a much simpler and cleaner interface in the new update. Instead of scattering the various features across the toolbar, the redesigned version will house all of them within a single circular rectangle. The look of the icons will also be updated to align with modern aesthetic preferences, further streamlining and refreshing the user experience.
Switching Between Calls
Another noticeable change in the update will be the interface for switching from audio to video calls. The new design promises to make this transition more intuitive and user-friendly.
Testing Phase
The new interface is currently undergoing testing and is expected to be released in a beta version soon. As of now, some features and backgrounds are still under development and have not been finalized yet.
